Gruzdeff was elevated to Fellow Member of the Royal Art Society N.S.W., ARCHIBALD FINALIST: at the National Gallery of NSW 1988 Portrait of Jazz musician “Don Burrows” and in 1986 Portrait of opera soprano “Rita Hunter”
TUTOR: Leeka was regularly invited to conduct workshops in city country areas, teaching pastel, oil and watercolor. Camp Creative 1980-2005, Art in Action 1996- 1999, Mitchell College of the Arts Bathurst University. Castle Hill Art Society 1980-1995, Bankstown Art Society, Royal Art Society of NSW, Blacktown Art Society, Santa Sabina as guest Tutor.
PUBLICATIONS 1994 Series of ten articles titled “PASTEL WORKSHOP”, as well as watercolor article “SPLASH” – 1996 creative Watercolor in “The Australian Artist”. 1996 Article in The Artist’s Palette and “X Cultural ART”
