Phil McKay ARAS
Phil McKay is a Sydney based artist who works in acrylics and charcoal. He undertook 18 months study at the Julian Ashton Art School from 2005, followed by a number of short courses at the National Art School.
Phil draws his inspiration from the environment around him, particularly the urban environment and structures in the landscape. He is also inspired by many artists, both past and present, and regularly visits major and lesser known galleries both in Australia and on overseas travels to view collections.
Phil displays his work in group exhibitions around Sydney and had a successful first solo exhibition in 2015. A second solo exhibition is planned for 2016.
