Susie Devenport FRAS
I have always loved painting and drawing. My formal art studies commenced at Julian Ashton’s Art School while I was still in high school and then continued with the Royal Art Society of NSW. I have a strong drawing foundation and work in most media including; charcoal, conte, ink and pencil, oil, pastel, gouache and mixed media. I enjoy the freshness and spontaneity of painting directly from life and have a fascination for faces and the human form, sometimes using humour and compassion to highlight the human ethos.
More recently I have taken a more abstract direction and am exploring my love of nature and the rhythms and connectivity of life.
