Teri Hiley FRAS
Teri is a Sydney born artist currently living and working in the Blue Mountains. She is a painter who prefers to work in watercolours and acrylics.
Several years of formal training have given Teri a solid base of techniques and aesthetic tradition to build her art practice upon.
“My style can best be described as realistic though I see my subject matter as abstract shapes to use in my compositions. I often, but not always, favour images using windows and doors featuring architectural detail.” Her work shows a love of process leading to the gradual emergence of the final piece.
“I usually work in series, a hangover from my screen printing days and my what if prints.”
She has been a past member of both Drummoyne Art Society and Blackheath Art Society and an active member of the Royal Art Society of NSW since 1999.
